On Friday September 23rd from 11 am until 4:30pm, and again on Saturday from 10 to 5pm, the Duke Raleigh Hospital Guild will host its 2nd annual “Art in the Gardens” event. This event will feature works of art from pottery to painting from over 25 artists from around North Carolina. Proceeds from the art sale will benefit the restoration of Birdwood which is a historic 4 bedroom home that is next to the hospital. This building will be used to provide lodging for the families of hospital patients.
